Best Restaurants in Sevilla

There was nothing I ate during my time in Sevilla that I didn’t like. The city is full of amazing restaurants, cafes, and bars that will not disappoint. On all of my trips, I always like asking locals where the recommend eating; but if you have a strong type A personality like me, you want to learn beforehand which ones people say you shouldn’t miss. So make sure you try out some of my favorite restaurants on your trip to Sevilla!

La Caseta de Noniná

This restaurant can be found on the riverside of Triana: a popular area of Sevilla. This was hands down my favorite dinner I had on this trip! Paella is a classic Spanish dish, and since Sevilla is close to the ocean, the seafood they added was phenomenal! The staff was so kind, they gave us free bread and shots and we loved chatting with them. The sangria was also amazing.

Mercado Lonja del Barranco

Do not let the unique name deter you, this place is so cool. It is an indoor venue of a local market where there are stands all kinds of food! There’s beer, cocktails, smoothies, juices, fruit, sandwiches, emanadas, and pastries! There is something here for everyone and the atmosphere was so fun.

Milonguitas

This restaurant was super close to our Airbnb so we actually went twice! This might be the best place to get an empanada in the city. Not only to they classic and original options, they also have unique flavor combinations that do not disappoint. Unless you order just one, you cannot go wrong!

Jester Coffee

Every breakfast I had on this trip was delicious, but this one might take the cake. Sevilla is known for their oranges and almost every street is lined with orange trees, so I took it upon myself to indulge in everything available that consisted of the citrus fruit. This meal was eaten under these beautiful orange trees while I sipped some of the freshest orange juice ever. This sandwich also so incredible I got another for the road! (The second purchase also contained a chai latte which was also delicious)

Al Lado

If you don’t go to any other of my recommendations, you MUST go this one. Being so close to Italy, the area also has some amazing Italian restaurants. My advice is to get the gnocchi: it has this garlic truffle sauce that will leave your taste buds amazed. This photo is actually the second time we dined her because we all had to have this dish again! This restaurant is actually in a hotel which also has an incredible rooftop bar named La terraza de EME. It overlooks the cathedral, which is lit up at night and has some of the tastiest cocktails I hav ever tried. These were the most expensive places we ate at, but it was 100% with it!

Biomio

This is the cutest breakfast cafe that has a diverse range of food options for all kinds of eaters. Almost everything was gluten free or vegan which I though was cool, but was even more surprised that nothing tasted like it was! They change their menu to incorporate whatever is in season so you know whatever ingredients you eat are super fresh.

Il ristorantino del Avvocato

This is another Italian restaurant that is known for their pizza. We split a traditional and a more unique one and both we amazing! The staff was also so kind. The location is walking distance from the Setas de Sevilla, so if you plan on checking out both places, I recommend you plan it for the same day.
