5 Things You Must Try In Paros

This island has to be one of my favorite places I have ever traveled to! If you have ever wanted to life your best Mama Mia life, here is the place to do it. Paros has all the beauty and culture of Santorini and Mykonos without the crowds and excessive pricing. Although there are endless activities and destinations that will not disappoint, here are five things that you MUST try while in Paros:

Daily Boat Cruise

This was hands down one of the best days of the trip. There are many lagoons and hidden areas where the water will almost look fake because of how blue and clear it is. I recommend booking a daily cruise so a local can take you to all the best places. I highly recommend using the company I used, they were so sweet and they even served us lunch!

**My cruise information can all be found on my Paros, Greece itinerary**

Naoussa at Sunset

The village of Naoussa was definitely one of my favorites of the island. The most popular docking area is found here, and trust me, it is nothing like the docks you are picturing. The dock is full of clean, white boats and has a stunning view of the white buildings the mountains. I loved walking around this area during sunset, it was truly magical.

Kolympethres Beach

If you are wanting clear, still water with a beautiful view of the island’s landscape, this is your place! As it is one of my favorite beaches on the island, I highly recommend spending a day there, if not more. There are lots of cool rock formations that meet the shore and there are two restaurants on the beach for shade, seating, and snacks!

Loukoumades

A traditional greek dessert that should not go untried! Loukoumades are round pieces of fried dough that are normally topped with honey or chocolate. They are pretty common in the cafes around the island so there is no excuse not to try it.

Fotis All Day Bar

Best. breakfast. of. the. trip. This restaurant sells breakfast, lunch, and dinner all hours of the day and none of it misses the mark. I actually went twice and got the same thing both times because of how good it was! If you weren’t sold already, you can even sit overlooking the shore and basking in the sun. So if you are wanting something delicious… head here!
