5 Places to Visit in Stuart, Florida

If you’re thinking, “I have never even heard of Stuart, Florida”, don’t worry, because I hadn’t either. This tropical hideaway is located about an hour above West Palm Beach on the east coast of Florida. The area offers an island aesthetic with the convenience of a city, perfect for any occasion. I had an amazing time exploring this destination and want to share the top five places you should visit in Stuart, Florida.

1. Hutchinson Island

Hutchinson Island is the bluest water I have ever seen on the east coast. It reminded me a lot of Anna Maria Island how the land is one long strip with the establishments on either side of the main road. We stayed in Beachwood Villas, which I would 10/10 recommend. It is conveniently located on the island and our condo overlooked the ocean, pool, and hot tub. Access to all of these amenities are available with your stay.

2. Jenson Beach

Jenson Beach is the area closest the bridge that takes you to Hutchinson Island. But nothing in Jenson beach is going to be farther than 15 minutes from the island. Here you will find more shopping and dining options, as well as supermarkets. We found two food options in Jenson Beach that are a MUST: A scoop of Jenson beach and Bunk house coffee bar. A scoop of Jenson Beach has some of the best ice cream, I had cotton candy (which I hadn’t ordered in years), and they also offer tons of froyo and non dairy options. Bunk House Coffee Bar is a refurbished home that has been transformed into this modern, tropical cafe that has delicious drinks, açaí, and even donuts.

3. Stuart Beach

Stuart Beach is the name of one of the beach access areas on Hutchinson Island. It provides a perfect view for sunrise and is the best place to discover tons of beautiful shells!

4. Seaside Cafe

This is the cutest outdoor resturant I have ever visited. It is located right on Stuart beach, so you can walk right on up to the window with sandy feet and an empty stomach. Your table overlooks the ocean and is just a wholesome island place to check out. It also helped that the food was AMAZING! We got a little bit of everything and nothing dissapointed! Beignets by the beach have found a special place in my heart:)

5. Chastain beach

This was unlike anything I have experienced and I absolutely loved it! We found this beach access tucked away in a Marriott Country Club and it has tons of large rocks that have been eroded by the waves. They were so fun to walk around and explore.
